Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle (2025)
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Infinity Castle (2025) marks the beginning of the anime's epic cinematic trilogy adaptation of the final battle arc from Koyoharu Gotouge's manga.
The story begins immediately after the explosive climax of the Hashira Training Arc. Demon King Muzan Kibutsuji ambushes the Demon Slayer Corps headquarters, attempting to kill Master Kagaya Ubuyashiki and capture Nezuko Kamado, who has developed immunity to sunlight. In a desperate act of sacrifice, Ubuyashiki detonates his own estate, heavily injuring Muzan. As the Hashira and Tanjiro Kamado swarm in to finish off the weakened Demon King, Muzan pulls the entire Demon Slayer Corps into his massive, labyrinthine, and gravity-defying fortress: the Infinity Castle.
Trapped inside, the Demon Slayers are separated and forced to engage in brutal, high-stakes battles against the remaining Upper Rank Demons:
Tanjiro Kamado & Giyu Tomioka vs. Upper Rank Three, Akaza: Tanjiro seeks vengeance for Kyojuro Rengoku. Together with Giyu, Tanjiro pushes his limits, unlocking the Transparent World and awakening his Sun Breathing techniques to overcome Akaza's overwhelming power and combat instincts.
Shinobu Kocho & Kanao Tsuyuri vs. Upper Rank Two, Doma: Shinobu confronts the sadistic demon who murdered her elder sister, Kanae. Fueled by grief and determination, she engages in a deadly clash of poisons and ice techniques.
Zenitsu Agatsuma vs. Upper Rank Six, Kaigaku: Zenitsu faces his former fellow apprentice, who betrayed the Thunder Breathing discipline to become a demon, forcing Zenitsu to prove his resolve with a newly created technique.
As the Demon Slayers fight for their lives across shifting dimensions, they move step-by-step toward their ultimate goal: defeating Muzan's top enforcers to finally bring an end to the century-long war against the Demon King.
