Resident Evil (2026) Movie
Resident Evil (2026) is an action-horror film that reimagines the iconic video game franchise, bringing viewers back to the dark and atmospheric roots of the series.
Set in the doomed, midwestern town of Raccoon City, the story follows a fractured team of survivors—including legendary figures Claire Redfield, Chris Redfield, and Leon S. Kennedy—as they unravel a terrifying corporate conspiracy. When the bio-engineering giant Umbrella Corporation attempts to cover up a disastrous breach at their clandestine laboratory, a mutagenic biological weapon known as the T-Virus is unleashed upon the local population.
Within hours, Raccoon City descends into total chaos as citizens transform into cannibalistic undead and grotesque biological abominations. Trapped inside the city as Umbrella initiates a military containment protocol to wipe all evidence—and survivors—off the map, the protagonists must navigate treacherous, zombie-infested streets, subterranean facilities, and gothic mansions. To escape the impending total destruction of the city, the group must fight through hordes of infected and survive the ultimate biological weapon: a ruthless, relentless Tyrant deployed to liquidate all remaining witnesses.
